Shanghai

Day started at 50 Moganshan Road Art Center.  Visited some really cool galleries.  Then had some yummy lunch at Jean George at 3 on The Bund, followed by a stop at the Shanghai Art Gallery...where I saw some blow up plastic pieces by Anish Kapoor...seems like the thing to do these days...  Then we went to some really touristy marketplace in a really old part of Shanghai.  That was intense.  It turns out that the next week of our trip falls on the Dragon Boat Festival.  Most of China has the next week off....should be interesting.  We couldn't get a plane ticket to Hangzhou tomorrow, so instead we're making the 2 hours trip via car first thing in the morning.
