Emperor JingDi Tomb

We flew into Xian on Monday.  Xian is much more picturesque than Beijing.  Air quality is much better, I'm happier...but it's raining cats and dogs.

JingDi was the Han Dynasty Emperor.  Unlike the Qin Dynasty Emperor, with the famous terracotta warriors (which I will see today), JingDi was more about the people.  His tomb was full of everyday objects and everyday people.  The museum was AWESOME, they pretty much built it above the tomb...it was like being on a Klingon spacecraft.  The coolest part of all of this, I couldn't take a picture.  They had this little "movie" but the whole thing was like a theater show with a little set, but the actors were all holographic!!  It was a little theater show with 3D projections of actors, dancing and talking.  Even the fire and smoke in the show was projected.
